Senior Carer

Job Type: Full time, Part time, Permanent, Contract

Job Description

  • Support people to live independently in their own homes/communities.
  • Undertaking a range of daily living tasks including; Personal Care (such as washing, dressing, continence care), Shopping, Light domestic duties (i.e. laundry, cleaning, etc),
  • Preparing meals.
  • Administering medication
  • Assessments, Care planning
  • Risk assessing
  • Communicating with families and other professionals.Â
  • Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintain professional standards at all times.
  • Work effectively on your own initiative and also as part of a team.

COVID-19 considerations:

All applicants must be double vaccinated, have had a booster vaccination or willing to have one.

Experience:

  • Senior care: 1 year (required)

We offer a full in-house induction programme, where you will receive all the training you need through a week long induction programme along with 2 weeks shadowing of an experienced Care Worker.

Enhanced DBS Check and 2 Satisfactory References Required.

Being a car driver is essential with your own transport, plus the ability to work evenings and weekends to suit the requirements of our clients.

Salary: £12.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

To keep our staff safe we provide them with full PPE as often as required. All staff are tested weekly for COVID-19 and government guidelines are strictly followed throughout all work.
